For all our BBQ lovers, this is the event to be at! Some of the best ribbers will cook for 3 days and bring you their best! Starting this Friday through to Sunday, great food and great music and family activities, beer garden etc. We will be there to look after injuries if needed – come visit us (even when not injured – just to say hi!) – we are in the ambulance on the field.
Please send us your resume with heading – First Aid Attendant OFA L3 – if you are looking for some part time Attendant work over the summer time and beyond.

You are invited to join athletes, family members, volunteers and supporters of Special Olympics for the 14th annual 2, 4 or 6 km SOBC – North Shore Walkathon on the West Vancouver Seawall on May 28th, 2016.
All funds raised by the Walkathon stay on the North Shore to support new and ongoing sports programs, uniform and equipment purchases, transportation and competition costs. This year’s committee is made up of Miranda Holroyd, Kelly Klein, Melissa Rigatti, Joanne Shand, Heather Shaw and Ralph Stiebel.
Last year we raised over $10,000, please help us meet our goal of $10,000 this year.

WHMIS 2015 changes to the OHS Regulation |
Effective August 4, 2015, WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) sections of the OHS Regulation have changed.The changes apply to WHMIS hazard classes and categories, pictograms and labels, and safety data sheets. Roles and responsibilities stay the same.WHMIS 2015 reflects the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) and brings Canada’s system into alignment with the U.S. and other trade partners.
Transition to WHMIS 2015 will take place over several years. There are different implementation periods for employers and suppliers (manufacturers, importers, and distributors). |

The Nations Cup Soccer Society proudly presents The 36th (2015) Annual Nations Cup Soccer Tournament. The Nations Cup is recognized by players and spectators alike as one of the foremost amateur men’s and women’s soccer tournaments in Western Canada. This year’s tournament is slated to take place July 17, 18, and 19, 2015 in Richmond, BC.
